FAQ

Where is the ReBlade demo save file on PC?
Official Demo FAQ lists C:\Users\<Your user folder>\AppData\LocalLow\ChillyRoom\ReBlade_ The Death Spiral\<SteamID>. The folder name includes ReBlade_ then a space then The Death Spiral.
Does ReBlade demo progress carry over to the full game?
No. Official Demo FAQ states demo saves will not carry into the release version because underlying systems may change before launch.
What does Continue Game do in demo v0.4.44?
The v0.4.44 update notes say you can resume your current run after exiting and return to the combat room you left.
Does ReBlade have Steam Cloud saves?
Cloud save support is not confirmed on the Steam store pages checked October 21, 2026. Treat local AppData saves as the documented path unless Valve or the developer announces cloud sync.
How can I back up my ReBlade demo save?
This wiki suggests copying the entire SteamID folder under the ChillyRoom path to another drive. That is fan advice, not an official backup tool from ChillyRoom.
Why can I not find the save folder in File Explorer?
AppData is hidden by default. Press Win+R, type %AppData%, press Enter, go up one level to AppData, open LocalLow, then ChillyRoom and the ReBlade_ The Death Spiral folder.

Where is the ReBlade demo save file on Windows?

The official Demo FAQ (Steam community announcement, October 20, 2026) gives this path:

C:\Users\<Your user folder>\AppData\LocalLow\ChillyRoom\ReBlade_ The Death Spiral\<SteamID>

The game folder name is not a typo: it reads ReBlade_ (underscore), then a space, then The Death Spiral. Match that spelling exactly when you browse or search. Replace <Your user folder> with your Windows profile name and <SteamID> with the numeric folder Steam creates for your account on that PC.

AppData is hidden in normal File Explorer views. A reliable route: press Win+R, type %AppData%, press Enter, open the parent AppData folder if needed, then LocalLow → ChillyRoom → ReBlade_ The Death Spiral → your SteamID subfolder.

Steam Cloud for this demo is not confirmed from store listings alone (October 21, 2026). Assume saves are local unless the developer or Steam documents cloud sync later.

Does demo progress carry into the full game?

No. The same official FAQ states demo saves will not carry over to the release build. The reason given is that underlying systems may still change before the full game ships, and the team wants a stable launch experience.

Learning in the demo still matters for mechanics. For run tips and economy, see the demo beginner guide and parry and combat basics. For demo dates and store links, use release date, price and demo dates.

How does Continue Game work after v0.4.44?

The [v0.4.44] Feature Updates & Optimizations announcement (October 20, 2026) improves Continue Game: after you exit the game, you can resume the same run and return to the combat room you were in. That is separate from full-game transfer: it only helps you pick up a demo session on the same PC.

If Continue Game fails after a crash or folder move, confirm you are still using the same SteamID folder under the path above. Controller issues were also patched in v0.4.44; the same notes recommend an Xbox controller while compatibility work continues.

How should you back up demo saves?

Official sources checked here do not describe a built-in export tool. As a ReBlade Wiki suggestion only (not official guidance): quit the game cleanly, then copy the entire <SteamID> folder to a backup drive or zip archive. Restore by placing the folder back under the same path before launching again.

Do not edit save files unless you accept the risk of corrupting a run. For PC specs and install size, cross-check system requirements.

What else should you know before the demo ends?

The Steam Next Fest window and wishlist links live on the demo overview and Next Fest page. ReBlade has no official redeem codes; do not trust third-party “code” lists. See does ReBlade have codes? for the honest FAQ.
